Managing Your Rightsholder Catalog on Customer Platforms

Guidelines for managing content and rightsholder catalog on DSPs that Audible Magic services

Managing your rights holder catalog on Audible Magic’s platforms ensures that your content is properly controlled and distributed according to your preferences. This guide outlines the processes for requesting content removals, checking the status of a release, restricting access to compositions or catalogs, and updating your catalog after reviewing royalty reports. Whether you're a label or publisher, this information will help you effectively manage your rights and ensure compliance with platform requirements.

Submitting a Request for Content Removal from Audible Magic's Download or Streaming Platforms

In accordance with Audible Magic's policy, all catalog takedowns must be submitted by the rightful owner through an incremental feed delivery.

For urgent takedown requests or if you encounter difficulties submitting a request, please reach out to labeloperations@audiblemagic.com and specify that you would like us to remove your release(s). To facilitate the process, kindly provide as many of the following metadata identifiers as possible:

  • Artist
  • Title
  • UPC
  • ISRC
  • Content Owner

We will confirm once the content has been successfully removed or if we require any further information. Please be aware that content removal requests can only be made by the rightsholder.

If you would like us to check the availability status of the release for a specific customer, please include the customer's name in your request. Please be aware that some Audible Magic customers may choose to filter explicit content and can restrict access to any material for reasons they find necessary.

Restricting Access to a Composition, Songwriter, or Publisher

If you have identified that your publishing catalog is accessible on any download or streaming platform serviced by Audible Magic and wish to restrict this access, please submit your request to puboperations@audiblemagic.com. The notification should clearly state that you would like to restrict the specific composition, songwriter, or publishing catalog in question. To expedite the process, please provide as many of the following metadata identifiers as possible:

  • Composition Name
  • ISWC
  • Songwriter Names (including any alternate names)
  • Publishing Catalog
  • IPI
  • Publisher Owner/Administrator

Once we receive your request, we will confirm the restriction or inform you if we need additional information. Please ensure that all requests for publishing restrictions come directly from the rights owner or holder.
