      How can I get ready to submit content deliveries to Audible Magic's ID services?

      Learn how you can prepare for registering your catalog in our identification and compliance system.

      Complete a Content Registration Agreement 

      Before you can start delivering your catalog, you first need to complete the Audible Magic Content Registration Agreement (CRA). To get access to the CRA, please contact our Content Operations team by using the Contact Form on our website and select "Content Registration" in the Product/Service section.

      Prepare for Content Delivery

      Designate a technical contact in your organization to manage your content registration process. This person should have a working familiarity with media file deliveries and metadata formats.

      Setting up a feed for music deliveries

      • Your company will need to confirm which media and metadata file types you will be using for for content registration.
        • Mp3 is the preferred media file format. For other supported audio file types, visit What resource files does Audible Magic's ID services system support?
        • Metadata can be DDEX (versions 4.1, 3.8.3, 3.8.2, and 3.7 currently supported) or Audible Magic's proprietary XML format, AM XML. Please contact helpdesk@audiblemagic.com to confirm the most current music AM XML version.
          • DDEX SSR is preferred, however ERN is acceptable.

      Setting up a feed for video deliveries

      • Your company will need to confirm which media and metadata file types you will be using for for content registration
        • MP4 or WMV is the preferred media file format for video file deliveries.
        • Metadata should be in Audible Magic's proprietary XML format, AM XML. Please contact helpdesk@audiblemagic.com to confirm the most current video AM XML version.

      Creating an SSH public key

      Next, your company will need an RSA public key for account authentication for SFTP site. You will use your private key as a login authentication. Please refer to the articles below regarding the creation of an SFTP key:

      Complete a Successful Test & Begin Ongoing Submissions

      Audible Magic’s Content Operations team will work with your technical contact through the testing process. Once all tests have been successfully, your company can begin to deliver files to Audible Magic at their convenience.
